GloveStix and ShoeStix: Not a stinky story!

GloveStix were invented by a mom, Krista Woods, from Ashburn Va. and
the first prototype was built by her husband Chris in their garage. With no previous manufacturing or e-commerce experience, and after only 7 months in business, Krista entered a “Mom Inventor” contest on NBC’s TODAY show where she had to pitch America her invention! She took home the grand prize... a trip to QVC to sell live, she sold out in 7 1/2 minutes, as well as the title “2016’s Next Big Thing”.

Over the past year, Krista has won several more awards for her entrepreneurship and successful small business and that gave her the courage to go after the big fish. November 5th, 2017 Krista’s segment of Shark Tank aired and she was able to negotiate a deal with two sharks, Lori Greiner and Alex Rodriguez, on national television.

“To be a self funded, small business start up, with absolutely no experience whatsoever in this field and to be knocking on the door of 1 million in sales after just a few short years is so insane.”-Krista says, “The key is... to trust yourself and keep fighting that fear that always tries to get in the way of your true potential!”-
