They help reduce the odor a lot, as I work out hard and my shoes are usually dripping from sweat and then the shoes have to stay in the car all day and bake in the sun, it causes them to smell bad by night. Glove Stix helps to reduce the odor by at least 50%, which is a Big Plus, wish we can have them make some Extra strength refills that would take 100% of odor away and keep it from coming back
